In the days after the events resulting in the collapse of Ravenloft, things started to slow down back to normal. After a few days of relaxing at the newly rebuilt Inn, a few of his comrads hinted towards moving on. Fintan thought to himself..things were starting to wind down, and without anything left to go kill, it was getting boring quick. He gathered the group at the church where Ashlan was still helping with the rebuilding. He congratulated his friends of a job very well done and with Ashlan's approval issued vouchers to claim their pay, with additional recommended compensation for the extra tasks encountered, redeemable once they make their way back to the Lightbringers at their convenience. Zoya had already left, but she was always one to come and go on whims as easily as the wind blows. Fintan grinned to himself as he took a final stroll down the main road of Barovia towards the Inn slightly missing her company already, but knowing she would probably find him again some day. It hadn't more than fifteen minutes later upon making his way back to the inn, when he noticed the rogue and any of his personal effects were already gone...sneaky bugger. He couldn't blame him though everyone had done more than their fair share on this mission and he was more than likely eager to get his pay. Walking back downstairs he hard music in the common room, and looking over he saw the Hardcastle musing over the beginnings of his new song about his recent journey and the challenges and success of his group. He too had his belongings close by in a chair, probably eager to spread the news of his newly composed tale. Turning to open the door to leave the Inn Fintan was a bit surprised to see Loric there just reaching for the handle to come in. He was a bit uneasy at seeing Fintan, but Fintan wrote that off as normal a while ago. They exchanged a few brief words, Loric tried to convince Fintan to stay...something about duty and honor...he stopped listening half way through and handed Loric a small bag of stuff and said good bye as he started walking away. A bit surprised at the gesture, Loric cautiously opened the bag hoping it wouldn't explode, but found a small supply of alchemical items. "You'd be surprised what they can do in a pinch" Fintan stated looking over his shoulder waving to him. His last stop before leaving the village involved Bildrath. Fintan wasn't sure why, if it was a sense of making things right or camaraderie among shop owners, but something made him feel he had to at least offer to make things right....and wanted to get it over quick before anyone noticed! The bell rang upon entering the shop, there wasn't much business since a salesman can't sell things well if he can't talk. Bildrath looked over to the door eager to help his dwindling flow of customers, but stopped short and grew pale upon seeing Fintan again. He took a few steps back behind his counter and inched towards the corner as Fintan walked up to him. Closing his eye's expecting the worse, he was startled to hear a THUD on the counter. Opening his eyes again he saw an over sized sword and breastplate and a pouch of gold. Bildrath was now totally confounded as Fintan pulled out a piece of parchment and began writing. As he wrote, Bildrath could only do what he knew best to prevent soiling himself and started cautiously appraising the items set before him. As his eye's grew wide at the value of the items, Fintan finished writing and placed the parchment in his hand. "You might not like it, but here are the directions to the city of the Lightbringers. Take this note and these items to them for payment, and get one of the high priests there to fix you up. You'll find Cyrus over at the Inn a bit lost as to what to do now, I'm sure he'd be able to help here at the shop. Take it or leave it, up to you". With that Fintan turned and left the shop. After half a day's walk out of town, Fintan was contemplating his next experiment when a pebble hit him on the shoulder. Eager to get into a fight he looked up only to see Zoya walk out from the forest line. A bit let down it wasn't anything dangerous, he grumbled at her "What are you doing you daft old druid?" "Just the person I wanted to see, I knew it wouldn't take you long to leave, figured i'd wait out here for you" Zoya replied. "You have that bored 'i wish i could hit something' look in your eye's, you should ask me what i'm tracking.." she smiled slyly. Growing annoyed Fintan remarked "What are you going on about, all the threats are gone from this place, there's nothing fun left in this bloody old town! Spit it out already or we'll be playing hunt the druid the whole way back to the city". At that Zoya's eyes lit up and she smiled in the way that made Fintan know she was excited about something. "Oh I got something to keep you entertained you impatient human.....how about hunting a dragon?". At that, Fintan's heart rose again as the thoughts of another battle filled his head. "Hell Yeah! I was looking forward to a second date with our friend. Lead On!" he shouted as he left the main road and began following her into the forest. Looking up into the late afternoon sky, Fintan flexes his battlefist and exclaims "Ahh, It's a good day to kick some ass!"
